The Process.

The way I made the header was quite simple actually. The header that I made was made up of 8 images I found on Google. I've actually had past experience with Photoshop in the animation course I took, and last year in Media Arts. First, I chose the background of the header. I chose something simple and bland, which was the squares. I didn't like how the original image was so bright and distracting, so I played with the exposure settings of the image until I found the settings that were right for me. Secondly, I added a picture of a dog, because I like dogs. However, the picture that I found had a background that ruined the look of the header.

I opened the image in a new tab. In order to remove the background, I selected the background with magic wand tool. Then, I used the magic eraser to remove the background then dragged it into the main image. I then rescaled the image to what I liked.

I used the same techniques for the starcraft probe, headphones, and Lucio (from overwatch). The hollow knight image was a little harder for me to edit in. this was mainly because of all the colours that made the magic wand tool selection harder. When that happened, I used the lasso tool to select the rough image and then dragged it into the main image. To cover up the bad job that I did while drawing the "rope", I used the glow effect on it. To get there,

I right clicked on the layer that I
wanted to add the glow to, and then selected the top tab. then i played with the settings of the glow effect until I got the setting that I liked.
Thanks for the detailed explanations, Morgan! I especially like the way you transformed the background.
