Final project Journal

May 30 2018:
Today, I started making the more advanced building in blender using the video below. I had some issued with making the window sides stop clipping because in the first few times I tried to join the building and windows outlines, they kept clipping until I changed the rotation of one of the faces.
I might have to extend my timeline to make more time for modelling the city because this will probably take a while just to make the building and streets for the characters to exist in. I also will have to work on the characters either in class or at home because they are probably going to take the most time.

June 1 2018:
Today, I continued making the building and I'm halfway done. Some difficulties I came across during modelling, was stetting up the array for the walls and floors. I solved them in time by copying the tutorial's settings.

June 5 2018:
Change of plans: I'm not going to add characters, but I'm going to model a level design in the city. It will be somewhat of a hubworld where the player will have plenty of room to run around.

Today, I continued modelling the building 2/3 done. No difficulties

June 7 2018:
I finished modelling the building and am adding materials and textures to make it look as good as possible. (materials made by myself using blender's colouring system)

June 11 2018:
I'm texturing and making materials for the building and adding streets and lampposts with materials on the ends that glow.

June 13 2018:
Computer glitching and restarting randomly. I finished texturing and adding materials to everything, I just need to finish up the background and sky.

June 15 2018:
I added the skybox and added an untextured car I found online to the scene to add some more life to the scene. I also took some rendered cinematic shots of the map to showcase the design.
